(More customer reviews)This is a story that almost no one seems to know about. I cant imagine being inside a 200 ft. tin can, in the worst possible weather for 3 or 4 years, fighting faster, better equipped U-boats (the corvettes were modified whalers with a 4 inch gun), with only a few breaks in between the battles. The corvettes weren't designed for prolonged ocean travel(mostly for coastal patrols) and yet they did the bulk of the allied ocean convoy work. I haven't finished the book yet, but I am thoroughly enjoying it so far.
