(More customer reviews)I love this book! If you have a child that loves all-things Navy (planes, ships, submarines, etc.) then they will love it, too! The pictures are beautiful (paintings done from photographs) and the pages that represent each letter are so clever! Where else can you teach your child the English alphabet, semaphore and the phonetic alphabet (from alpha to zulu) all in one book?
It is listed as ages baby to preschool, but because of the cool subject matter, I would not limit it to that age group. All four of our "Navy Brats" thought this book was pretty cool (ages elem. through jr. high). The only thing really "preschool" about it is the fact that it is an alphabet book. That said, I think it would make a fun baby shower gift for the expecting Navy wife, too!
