(More customer reviews)I'm biased as I have liked everything P.T. Deutermann has published, however, Pacific Glory was Deutermann on steroids. The historical novel genre was a departure from his usual mystery adventures but he produced an historically accurate romance adventure that though a bit mushy at times was fast paced and included some of the most riveting combat scenes I've ever read. And here comes the ultimate compliment: Pacific Glory reminded me several times of Herman Wouk's WWII novels in the descriptive quality of the prose. I very much look forward to P.T. Deutermann's next book, and the one after that, etc. Bravo!
