(More customer reviews)Battleships of th U.S. Navy in World War II includes many photographs, side drawings and deck plans to illustrate each battleship class and more often each battleship. The different radar arrays are also illustrated.The book touches very lightly on the japanese battleships of WWII. Battleships covered are the Wyoming class of 1912 through the Iowa's including thier history up to about 1970. Also included are the Montana Class while there is not a lot of information It is the most I have seen in one source. What makes this book a favorite of my collection is the line drawings, photographs, and the information about the Montana Class.
