(More customer reviews)Purchased the book as a memento of my family's decades of attending a classic rivalry in sports. Unfortunately, the book is very, very disappointing. There is very little information and very few stories of depth, but most disappointing is the very unprofessional layout and graphics inside the book. The exterior is nice, leather-bound, and looks good...unfortunately this does not continue to the inside. The graphics are very rudimentary, the layout is amateur at best, and the entire book feels more like a fairly unprofessional website or blog.
With such a host of information, stories, and drama to blend into a book of 100 years of history, this book falls completely short on both information and presentation. We purchased it to keep it out on the coffee table, especially as my entire family is passionate about Army-Navy, but the actual book inside is so embarrassing in presentation that it's an afterthought, stuck somewhere on the bookcase.
